Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day both fall on February 14th in 2010 - very special indeed!

Following the Chinese Zodiac calendar, we're ending the Year of the Ox and ushering in the Year of the Tiger on Feb 14th.

Celebrate by folding your own chinese zodiac origami tiger! Other origami chinese zodiac signs include ox(cow), rabbit, dragon, snake.

For Valentine's Day we have plenty of origami hearts and origami flowers for your special someone. So get busy and start folding!

Well, it's our job to remind you grownups (and teach you kids)! 

Below are some easy and simple origami designs to get started with. We always use a 6" x 6" (or 15cm x 15cm) square origami paper for the models unless we state otherwise.

 


 

 

These items are not only easy to make, they are fun to use also.  The hat is even practical, too! 

We know that you'll have as much fun with these designs as we have.  You can start with any paper that you have around. 

White computer printer paper works well for airplanes.

You can also purchase colored paper at the craft store.  Now, let's get to folding!
