Origami Mount Fuji

Origami Mount Fuji is a really simple origami. It is a snow-capped mountain origami so it could be named origami Mount Rainier in USA or origami Mount Cook in New Zealand.

Origami Mount Fuji Step 1: Start with a 6 inch x 6 inch (15cm x 15cm) square origami paper, color side up.

Origami Mount Fuji Step 2: Make a valley fold as indicated below. If you want lots of snow on your mountain top, then fold up more of the paper. Otherwise, about 1/4" to 1/2" (or about 8mm to 10mm) should be sufficient.

Origami Mount Fuji Step 3: Flip paper over.

Origami Mount Fuji Step 4: Fold the paper in half. Crease well and unfold.

Origami Mount Fuji Step 5: Fold both sides to meet that crease.

Origami Mount Fuji Step 6: Now recrease that center line so that your mountain can stand on its own.
