This is an easy origami butterfly. You can use various size paper to create smaller or larger butterflies.

Easy Origami Butterfly Step 1: Fold an origami boat base. You should have the following to begin with.

Easy Origami Butterfly Step 2: Fold the right and left tips of the upper half to the top.

Easy Origami Butterfly Step 3: Make a mountain fold and fold the upper half under the bottom half as follows.
