Easy Origami Tortoise
This is a fun easy origami tortoise. I really love this origami model because it is easy and looks realistic!
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 1: Start with a square 6" x 6" (15cm x 15cm) origami paper color side down.
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 2: Fold it along the diagonal. Crease well and unfold.
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 3: Now fold along the other diagonal. Crease well and unfold.
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 4: Now measure approximately 2 cm from the diagonal crease as shown.
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 5: Fold on that dash line.
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 6: Now fold the paper in half along the center diagonal crease.
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 7: OK, now we have to make an outside reverse fold. First, fold along the dash line as shown.
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 8: Flip paper over and fold along dash line as shown again.
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 9: Flip paper over again. Open the paper slightly. Fold the corner upwards.
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 10: Make sure the corner stay upwards as you close the paper again. Push down the fold and squash it.
Easy Origami Tortoise Step 11: That's it! Your easy origami tortoise is complete! Decorate it as you please!
