Origami Modular Wreath

This is a fairly easy origami modular wreath. It is an 8 unit design which mean you have to fold the same piece 8 times. This origami was designed by Rita Foelker.

Origami Modular Wreath Step 8: Flip paper over. This is your modular unit. You will need to make 8 of these. We've chosen to use 2 colors, green and orange, but you can make all of the same color or a different color for each of the units.

Origami Modular Wreath Step 9: Time to put the units together! Place 2 units side by side as shown below. The "larger" square on the orange unit should fit into the "smaller" square of the green unit.

Origami Modular Wreath Step 10: Flip the units over. See the circled area below?

We need to somehow hold the units together without glue and this is how you do it! Make a fold on the dotted line shown below, tucking the green tip under the orange unit.

And this is what you should have:

Origami Modular Wreath Step 11: You now have to repeat Steps 9 and 10 for the rest of the units. Once again, you'll fit one unit into the other.

Origami Modular Wreath Step 12: Flip units over. Tuck in the tip.

Origami Modular Wreath Step 13: Repeat steps 9 and 10 for the remaining 5 units.

Finally the last unit is joined up with the 1st unit and your origami modular wreath is completed!
