If you want your origami card holder to store business cards, you need to start out with a 8 1/4" Origami Paper

If you want to use it to hold credit cards, then you need a slightly larger
9 inch Origami Paper

This is because credit cards are slightly larger than business cards.

Origami Card Holder Step 1: Start out with a square origami paper, color side down. We are using the 8 1/4" Origami Paper for this origami.

Origami Card Holder Step 10: Your origami card holder is complete! You can now use it to carry business cards.

The 8 1/4" origami paper makes an origami card holder that is approximately 2 1/16 inch (height when the card holder is closed) x 4 inch length.

A regular business card is generally 2" in height x 3.5 in length. So the business card fits nicely in the origami card holder.

A credit card is generally larger 2 2/16" height x 3 6/16" length so it won't fit if you use the 8 1/4"paper. But it should fit if you use the larger
9 inch Origami Paper
.
